For date night last week we went out to Bub's Burger with our little Jack Attack. Gordy heard about this burger joint from a friend at school and we've been dying to find a unique place to fall in love with here in Bloomington. SURPRISE! We found it at Bub's Burger and Ice Cream. It was super yummy. They are famous for their BIG Ugly Burger, which starts out as a 22 oz. patty (once its cooked its a pound) and practically a whole garden salad to put on top of it. If you can eat the entire thing by yourself you get your picture on the wall.
There were tons of pictures. almost like wallpaper. We also got their sweet potato fries and you'll never guess what you dip it in MARSHMALLOW CREAM SAUCE! I mean HELLO! It's so obvious! Why didn't anyone think of that before! It was DELISH!!
The service was incredible and the atmosphere was really fun. They have a battle of the sexes board game at each table to keep you entertained.
Anyway... we had an absolute blast and are excited to say we are falling in love with B-town even more.

Since you love exploring new cities, you should explore Alma, Michigan this weekend....it's only 5 hours and 45 minutes away from you. :)
I'm going home just from Thurs-Tues so it will be a quick trip. But this summer (probably May) Kyle and I are going home for at least a week and are going camping with my family on Lake Michigan, and also to Mackinac Island for a day or two. You guys should meet up with us! I would love it.

Jenn--sounds like a great burger! I don't know if you know, but we broke our fast with this exact same meal! Ains madvthe sweet potato fries w/ mallow dip, too. Stratospherically good--especially after fasting! Gordon
